DX-60 PTT Mod Pt. 2
Including Monologue Switch Part 2 of the Heathkit K1 PTT relay system. I have added a few features, simplified the installation, plus updated the documentation. Yes a growing project. DX-60 PTT Modification
Another great one from Terry, N6TLU This video demonstrates installation of the D-lab K1 PTT module into a Heathkit DX-60B. Many of these radios are still in use. It needs some TLC, however I knew it would be worth the efforts. Yes, got it working, and what a fun lit... READ MORE |

N6TLU, Terry, features our net once again on his YouTube D-Lab Electronics channel. Here is the N8ECR memorial DX-60 net. Net control now is W8TOW (Steve) He does a super job keeping the tradition alive. Lots of great antiques radios utilized. Experience the monstrous sound of plate modulation. I was using a super nice National NC-300 to monitor the net. Yes, a vintage hobby, however once you try it, I guarantee you will be hooked. A gathering of experienced Ham's spreading t... READ MORE |

Heathkit DX-60A Restoration by N9IZ
Here's my vintage Heathkit DX-60A on the workbench. It's very clean and in good shape for it's age. After replacing a couple resistors in the HV power supply it seems to be making pretty good output power. - Jeff, N9IZ... READ MORE |
